SCHOOLBOY Ben Baddeley completed a ‘sponsored pedal’ to help raise cash for his treatment. Parents Amy and Gary organised a fun day at Silverdale Workingmen’s Club to raise much-needed funds for his treatment.

And an ‘elderly gentleman’, who asked to remain anonymous, came along to the event, and donated £300.

Cerebral palsy sufferer Ben, aged 10, who raised £70 from his sponsored pedal, has been refused NHS funding for care after undergoing an operation to help him walk.
